Với dân biết làm ăn và có kiến thức thì dễ dàng để biết đến nhân vật nổi tiếng Andrew Inglis cựu CEO của tập đoàn BP (British Petrolium) Vương Quốc Anh (United Kingdom). Ông này vừa từ bỏ chức CEO của BP và chuyển sang làm CEO cho Petrofac vào cuối năm 2010, vì sự cố tràn dầu ở vịnh Mexico do gãy ống khoan dầu cuối năm ngoái, mà BP phải bỏ một khoản tiền khổng lồ để bồi thường.
Lừa đảo trên thế giới ảo bằng cách gửi thư chuyển tiền do một ai/tổ chức nào đó vì muốn làm từ thiện là chuyện xưa nay không hiếm, nếu ai có dùng hộp thư điện tử. Nhưng gần đây trên thế giới ảo xuất hiện một cách mới. Theo cách này thì, tên của những người nổi tiếng, mà cụ thể ở đây là ông Andrew Inglis với nhiều tài khoản ở facebook khác nhau và liên tục đi gửi những bức thư lừa đảo mà tên tiếng Anh gọi là Scam mail.
Tối hôm 03/10/2011 tôi đã đưa note trên facebook, có một ông Andrew Inglis đã nhắn tin trên trang cá nhân facebook của tôi với thông tin như sau:
"Good Day,I am very pleased to have viewed your profile and found it necessary to get acquainted with you.I do wish to have an important discussion with you. It’s in regard of my official business trip to your country.Please I will appreciate to receive your private email address so I can give you details and areas you can participate and assist me.Regards,Andrew Inglis."
Sau khi đưa lên thông báo trên facebook thì tôi đã xóa note này, và bắt đầu truy lùng thủ phạm mà tôi cho rằng đó là một Andrew Inglis giả danh, vì có rất nhều Andrew Inglis khác nhau dùng một hình đại diện trên facebook như sau:

Và tôi tìm trên mạng lá thư này đã được gửi đi gửi lại nhiều nơi cùng nội dung như ở các nơi sau đây:
Nên kết luận cuối cùng của tôi là hiện nay trên thế giới ảo có rất nhiều kiểu lừa đảo. Trong đó đây là một cách lừa đảo dùng để lừa những ai nhẹ dạ cả tin. Vì không có một CEO nào có thừa thời gian để đi làm việc này. Hơn nữa một CEO mà không biết mở một tài khoản tín dụng cá nhân ở nước ngoài là một điều không tưởng.
Hãy thận trọng với những quan hệ ảo trên mạng internet nhé các bạn. Chúc một ngày mới tốt đẹp đến với mọi người.
